Call Back Verification Step-by-Step Instructions

Call back verification is incredibly simple to set up and use. It requires you to sign up for a free trial of a voicemail service with a company called eVoice. Review or print these instructions while you go through the process. Please read instructions first. Click the large link at the bottom of this page to begin. Refer to this page while you go through the process. WARNING: This page will not display properly on iPhones or iPads and other mobile devices. Please use a regular computer to complete this process.

Step #1: Click on Free Trial to Begin

Step #2: Choose Local Number

(You can also use an 800 number, this sometimes works better and is preferred by many of our users.)

Step #3: Enter Your Info

Enter your name, email, and billing info. You WILL NOT be charged until the trial ends (in 6 months). Cancel before this if you wish – at any time. This costs absolutely $0.

Step #4: Set up the Secret Question.

Now You’re Almost There!

Step #5: Choose “I Don’t Need Extensions”

Step #6: Go to admin settings and chose “Activate Auto Attendant”.

Step #7: Set Up Your Greeting

Go to ‘Set Up Your Greeting’ and chose “Computer Voice Greeting”. You may also upload one of our pre-recorded MP3s (see orange button below).

Step #8: Set Up the Voicemail (Welcome Greeting)

Many clinics in the USA and Canada are currently using automated, computer-generated answering services. The best template we’ve found is this — plain and simple:

Thank you for calling __________________. If this is a medical emergency, please hang up and dial 911. If you know your party’s extension, please press it now. For the ___________ department, press 1, for the __________ department, press 2.

Set this up so pressing either number routes to your cellular phone. You can then track if the number has been called. Make sure to disable your voicemail on your cell phone.

New Voicemail Options!

Exciting News! As of , we have a new option which allows you to upload MP3 voicemail messages. This way you can make your message sound like an authentic clinic or doctor answering their phone.

Call back verification works well because most hospitals and clinics never have a direct person answering.. and most employers and educational institutions simply call back on the note to see if its an actual clinic or hospital. Due to HIPPA laws, there are very few questions they can legally ask so therefore very few will attempt to connect to a live person.
